RFQ: Central Platte Valley Campus Salt Dome Reroof
The City and County of Denver (City) is soliciting qualifications from interested firms to qualify for bidding eligibility on the Central Platte Valley Campus Salt Dome Reroof Project. The goal of the project is to reroof the Central Platte Valley Campus Salt Dome, including removal and replacement of asphalt shingles, installation of high‑wind and impact‑resistant roofing materials, limited plywood deck replacement, and removal/replacement of entry‑area vinyl siding. Materials must meet UL Class A Fire Rating, UL 2218 Impact Rating, ASTM wind ratings, and be corrosion‑resistant due to salt-sand mix exposure. This project is being procured through a two-stage bid approach of RFQ and construction hard bid, as recommended by the Manager of DOTI Contract & Procurement and Director of DOTI IA due to the specialized experience required for the project. Mandatory Site Visit will be held at 2:00 p.m., local time, September 10, 2026 . In conjunction with the site visit, pre-submittal information will be discussed.
