Purpose and Overview Clear Creek County IT Department is soliciting competitive quotations from qualified vendors for the procurement and deployment of next-generation firewall (NGFW) hardware as part of a county-wide Firewall Replacement Project. This is an open public request; any qualified vendor may respond. The County is seeking to replace aging firewall infrastructure across multiple sites with Fortinet FortiGate appliances (or approved equivalents). Vendors must provide pricing for hardware and FortiCare/FortiGuard subscription bundles under both a 1-year and a 3-year term so the County may evaluate total cost across both options before making an award decision. This RFQ is not a contract or a commitment to purchase. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotations, to waive any informalities, and to award to the vendor deemed most advantageous to the County. 2. Current Environment & Context Vendors should understand the County's environment when preparing proposals: - Multiple sites across Clear Creek County, Colorado - Existing firewall infrastructure is end-of-life or approaching end-of-support - Replacing with Fortinet FortiGate appliances at 12 total locations (or approved equivalent) - All appliances must be new -- no refurbished, gray-market, or open-box units - Delivery to: 405 Argentine Street, Georgetown, CO 80444 - County is tax-exempt; exemption certificate will be provided upon award 3. Technical Specifications & Pricing Vendors must quote the exact models specified below, or may propose equivalent substitutions with full technical documentation attached. All substitutions must be clearly identified and include a side-by-side specification comparison. Pricing must be provided per unit and as an extended total. Both a 1-year subscription option and a 3-year subscription option are required for each line item. Hardware pricing should be quoted once (it does not change by term); subscription pricing must be quoted separately for each term. Additional Requirements - All hardware must ship within 30 days of purchase order issuance, or vendor must provide a documented lead time at time of quote. - Vendor must confirm that FortiCare and FortiGuard subscriptions will be registered to Clear Creek County and are transferable upon renewal. - Vendor must be an authorized Fortinet reseller or certified partner. Proof of authorization must be included with submission. - If proposing equivalent non-Fortinet hardware, vendor must provide a full specification comparison demonstrating equivalent or superior throughput, security feature set, and support terms. - Vendor must provide estimated delivery timeline at time of quote. - Optional: vendors may include pricing for basic configuration / rack-and-stack professional services as a separate, optional line item. The County is not required to accept this service. 5.
